Made from billet aluminium, this atmospheric diverter valve dumps the charge-air to atmosphere creating the "Whoosh" sound when the throttle is lifted. This increases both quicker throttle response and higher clamping load to maintain boost pressure more reliably. Unlike single piston or diaphragm diverter valves, this uses counter balanced springs and dual pistons to prevent the valve from leaking air into the intake system at idle. Earlier models utilise a straight silicone hose joiner, however these later models use a rectangular joiner. FMBH8 is designed to fit USDM and ROW vehicles that typically use this type of diverter valve hose, whereas European and UK spec vehicles tend to use a straight silicone hose. Similar to many of the newer VAG engines, the latest 1.0 TSI power plant is not equipped with a diverter valve fitted as standard, Forge Motorsport has developed a twin piston dump valve that not only gives you a loud audible sound when lifting off the throttle, but also increases the throttle response during gear changes by reducing turbo lag. It has been designed to help the turbocharger maintain its rotational speed ready for when you accelerate, whilst also taking the strain away from the impeller. Without removing this stress from your turbo, it can lead to premature failure especially on remapped engines and modified vehicles. This valve kit allows the fitment of our fast response blow off valve preventing turbo surge and prolonging the life of your engine’s turbocharger. This kit features a Forge Ram Air high flow, pleated, synthetic nanofiber filtration filter, that has been manufactured for optimum size and fit to the available space giving superior flow and filtration with enhanced breathing for the 1.5 turbo charged engine. It also features a larger surface area than the stock filter and many competitors’ alternatives. The intake diameters on these air intakes have been carefully tuned to provide exactly the correct quantity of air ensuring solid consistent power gains throughout the rev range without any loss of low-end torque. The pipework is specifically designed to feed the turbo without interruption. The benefit of this is a gain of induction acoustics under acceleration, which improves the driving experience and adds a bit more drama to the TSI EVO engine. Left hand drive intake Right hand drive intake As with all our intakes we design, high air flow is considered absolutely paramount, thus, we endeavoured to incorporate a large bore silicone high flow pipe with turbo inlet adaptor included. This helps to aid the engines performance and air flow in several ways. Designed in a similar way to a conventional velocity stack, it routes the air more directly into your turbo charger and allows more air than the stock inlet tract to be compressed due to its larger capacity. This can have a positive effect on accelerating your vehicle after long deceleration or between gear changes as more air is being kept within the intake system. The Forge developed inlet tract has more than a 50% increase in volume with the area at the mouth of the turbo increased to 46%. This, combined with no internal baffles or noise restrictors gives a helping hand to the vehicles acoustic notes and throttle response. With the use of Solidworks®, our CAD engineers have designed the heat shroud to fit round all the contours of the engine bay. This shroud combined with our specially formulated thermal coatings protects the intake from radiant heat while also guiding the cold air from the OE cold air ducting to the filter and housing. All of the billet components supplied have been made from 6082 Alloy and then anodised to ensure the alloy has no fatigue and stays without corrosion for years to come. On a tuned vehicle this combination is an essential purchase as the OEM air box is found to be too restrictive to achieve the optimum power figures and smooth power delivery. This beautifully crafted high flow charge pipe is for the Ford Fiesta ST MK8 and Ford Puma ST. This product has been created over many days and months of dyno testing and road testing to prove the products credentials. The boost pipes are a direct replacement to the original hot-side charge pipe which is rather restrictive especially at the turbo end. FMBP6 was developed to remove these restrictions and now features a smooth and enlarged bore size creating a vast improvement in air flow and a reduction in pressure drop. This blow off valve, or dump valve is for the BMW 235 3.0 Petrol Turbo engine 2014+ are EWG (Electronic Waste Gate) as found in the F22 chassis model that has a single electronically controlled bypass valve. This product is recommended for both unmodified vehicles and any vehicle where the boost pressure has been increased by an ECU software upgrade, as a replacement to the OEM bypass valve. Unfortunately the standard valve fails when the plastic deteriorates with age normally resulting in a check engine light. Unfortunately the valve may still partially function, so you may not be aware that you are losing power due to this. This particular failure can also result in the valve falling apart upon removal from the turbo, and in extreme cases, bits of plastic entering the turbo, resulting in serious damage. Our alternative is a fully engineered solution offering significantly improved reliability. Our valve is piston based, with no diaphragm to fail, and with a body of all aluminium construction. It’s also fully serviceable and the spring strength can be changed to suit increased boost levels. This valve is a full replacement recirculation valve (i.e. quiet) that integrates seamlessly with the OEM electronics and results in no detriment in performance, and absolutely NO fault codes or check engine lights, which isn’t something that can be said of our competition! Using components from our highly successful and ever popular Civic FK2 Atmospheric Dump Valve Kit, the development engineers at Forge have redeveloped the kit to fit the repackaged 4-cylinder K20 2.0 Turbo engine in the Honda FK8 Civic Type R. This installation requires the removal of the OEM DV. It is our recommendation that the OEM valve is removed and replaced with the blanking plate supplied in this kit. Developed and machined by Forge engineers in our UK CNC machine shop, the valve features our unique robust twin piston design, which allows for fine-tuning with interchangeable springs. This product only works in conjunction with FMINDK35. After the success of the FMDV22 Forge Motorsport has now developed a recirculating Valve option for the VAG 1.5 TSI engine. It uses our tried and tested FMDV008 recirculation valve, this valve has been with us for some time and has proved time and again to be tough, durable and ultra-reliable. By adding this valve, it prevents turbo surge and prolongs the life of your engine’s turbocharger. As the engine does not have a diverter valve fitted as standard, Forge have reused our tried and tested FMDV008 valve that increases the throttle response during gear changes by reducing turbo lag. It has been designed to help the turbocharger maintain its rotational speed ready for when you accelerate, whilst also taking the strain away from the impeller. Without removing this stress from your turbo, it could cause premature failure, especially on engines and modified vehicles. Like with all our valves you are able to customise it to fit your application with two uprated springs provided in the kit. Due to its clever design, changing the spring is a very simple process, simply undo the fasteners attaching the valve top and remove the spring. Its that easy! Due to the exposed position of the OEM boost pipe and the nature of an engines heat cycle, the plastic the OEM pipe is made from can deteriorate over time becoming brittle and susceptible to boost leaks. Product Description This Blow Off, or Dump valve, is for the BMW N20 2.0 Turbo engines that have the electronically controlled bypass valve. This engine can be found in the F10,F20 and F30 chassis badged as 125i,225i, 220i, 228i, 320i, 328i, 520i and 528i. It is recommended for any vehicle where the boost pressure has been increased by an ECU software upgrade and for unmodified vehicles operating in warmer climates, as a solution to the many failures that have occurred, where the original rubber diaphragm splits, which causes a loss of boost pressure.
